The Spectrabox series are composed with 5 ledspectra, 3 color temperatures, IR and UV. New is the application of UV LEDs in LED grow lights. Ultraviolet provides protection against fungi and pests and contributes to an increased concentration of essential oils and better quality yield.
The LED spectra are tuned to wavelengths (nanometers) in which the photosynthesis of plants occurs. The main photosynthetic organisms are chlorophyll-A and chlorophyll-B, ß-carotene and xanthophylls (phycoerythrin + Phycocyanin). Essential is the relationship between the wavelengths, so they align ideally, creating something like synergy. This opens the stomata, so more CO2 can be taken for the air to produce more yield. |

The 3 color temperatures have a full spectrum. One colour stimulates growth and the other two stimulate flowering. This enables the Spectrabox series to be used as full spectrum lighting systems in rooms where no day- or sunlight occurs.
